Basics: While Tali doesn’t play a massive part, he usually is placed in the big brother role in the manga when need be. He rescues Lysa when she came to shore and considers himself responsible for her. He’s reliable and dependable, but holds a certain darkness he keeps secret.
History: Tali is from Neo-Russia and is the oldest of Mamoru and Umi. The village they lived in practiced the odd art of demon sealing. The village used to hold demons before Eregai was formed. The demons started a civil war and ended up killing each other and their spirits were left behind. The demon spirits had the ability to still kill the elves that decided to settle there, despite not having a true form. So instead of leaving, they sealed the demons into little boys. It was hoped that the little boy would die and take the spirit with it. And most of the time, this was the case. However, Tali and Mamoru survived and were somewhat ridiculed. And worst, their parents disappeared. Tali took care of his siblings off the land for a while before being found by Tsubiui, who was on a mission at the time. Tsubiui offered for them to come and stay at Hibiki’s place. Tali was a little worried about his siblings becoming assassins but in the end, it was a good decision.

Extra: Tali doesn't use contractions such as "don't" and "can't". His speech is very formal. One day he might lighten up though...

Basics: Mamoru plays a larger part later in the series. He’s very, I suppose, cool towards people. While he’s quite innocent, he tends to be introverted and depressed. He’s later shown to dislike Lysa mostly because she’s close to Tali, his brother, and one of the few people he feels comfortable around. Thus meaning he dislikes a lot of people…

He liked staying with his siblings in the wilderness and wasn’t too happy to be found by Tsubiui, who was on a mission at the time. Tsubiui offered for them to come and stay at Hibiki’s place. Mamoru still doesn’t like it there, unlike his siblings…

Basics: Umi makes a total of…five appearances, maybe? She’s Tali and Mamoru’s tomboy baby sister. She is petite but wields a massive ax. She’s quite athletic and seems kind of unapproachable but she she’s quite sweet. She likes to cook for her boyfriend, Kanreyuu.

And worst, their parents disappeared. Umi was quite small when her parents disappeared and doesn’t remember them very well. She always wanted to help Tali take care of things and proved to be mature beyond her true age. She was wary of Tsubiui at first when he offered but is quite happy he did. She got to meet Kanreyuu, after all. ^_^
