Basics: "Because of the things she’s gone through since she was a little child, she is aloof and doesn’t like to get close to anyone. She will insult others to get them away, and she’d rather be hated than loved because she believes love is weakness. She’s a very bitter person, and a little too greedy for her own good. People despise her most times because of the way she treats them. She will help you out if you really need it, but she believes in people being self-sufficent. History: "Her parents lived in a small mining town when they had her. The mines had long ago run out of course, and the people were too poor to move. So they got stuck, and instead opened inns and such for the travellers that came through. When war broke out there were no more people coming and they began to starve. Even when most people left they stayed, thinking they could farm. The food was too scarce and Cynthia was just a small child, just starting to eat food. So Kelista, her mom, gave her all her food and made Uran, her husband, promise he’d take care of Cynthia. When she finally died, Uran left with Cynthia and reached a farming town. The battles were over and the farmers regrew everything, and Uran worked as a farm hand. When he earned enough he started his own little farm. He took up drinking and would often cry or rage about Kelista, missing her. At first it was fine and he would just cry, but then he started taking out his pain on Cynthia and blamed her for Kelista’s death. He started calling her Cyn ("Sin") and a demon because the sun burned her badly and she was so white. The other children also scorned her and called her a freak. He began to beat her when he got drunk and when she was old enough she had to work on the farm. When she was 11 she rebelled and he stabbed her through the cheeks...those are where her scars came from. She managed to slit his throat that night when he passed out, and then ran away. She never tells anyone any of this. She was accepted into a dojo where she learned to kill for a living."- X Daggers
